My first statement is: Ambition is a positive, desirable trait in a person. I can neither agree nor disagree. Ambition is a very important trait to have, but it is very easy to get carried away with it. Their is a perfect balance somewhere on the spectrum, but it is some where in the middle, not on either end. Too little ambition and nothing will get down; too much ambition and everything could be seen as a threat. Lady Macbeth has too much and Macbeth has barely too much.
My second is: Sometimes you have to do things other people consider wrong to get ahead. I disagree with this. Most of the time, there is a great reason that that particular thing is considered bad. Sometimes, what ever made that thing bad may not be a problem anymore. Other times, there may be morals that keep most people from doing it. Lady Macbeth is completely aligned with this statement.
